New Monitor finally came. MSI MPG 322URX. Did some small tests and it's got a beautiful picture quality!

@Wario64 Xbox is dead. Helix isn't going to be it's savior, it will be the final nail in the coffin for Xbox. The sooner they become a multiplatform Game publisher the better off Microsoft & Xbox will be. This is just a last hurrah or slow death march. The writing is on the wall.

This statement makes zero fucking sense from any standpoint. G4&5 cover gameplay and fundamentals are just as good and in some cases better than 2&3.

@PaleHorseRAAM They are awful because cover does not matter in Gears 4 and definitely in Gears 5. There is a reason Gears 4 and 5 did not have as much life as Gears 3

@dillon_trey The same ones you have. If you break them down to just cover gameplay, they are all structured the same except later ones add a few more mechanics and are much smoother

@o_b_z_d_n @Arcanam8 The movement got to out of hand with 4 and 5. Slowing it down, and making it about positioning and gunplay is over a net positive. There will probably still be some old stuff like back-A’s and Up A-s but not a domain as in 4 and 5. That’s good

Damn bro it's almost like I was asleep. I'll give you that the netcode is bad. Netcode has been Gears' biggest problem since the first game, but you never see people point this out because 95% of the Gears fanbase are dumb as rocks. Wrapshotting is hard to adjust to because it's so counter-intuitive, but even that has counter-play, just get off the cover and most of the time they'll miss their wrap shot and you get a free shot on them. All the shit people complain about has counterplay, the problem is these players are bad.

Up As, back As, wraps, rxn and every other bullshit firing mechanic is done for and this IS GREAT Without crutch mechanics watch the movement players filter off elsewhere now they actually have to hit their shots

@Arcanam8 @o_b_z_d_n I like how he does not reply. Lol back a-s don’t know even counter up a-s half the time because people turn them into wrap shots or just Gears awful net-code that does not work half the time.

@o_b_z_d_n Yeah I literally spent my entire time on Gears 5 in masters 2v2 gnasher so I didn't have to get lancer crossed by 5 stacks constantly (actually the worst part about Gears 5) but go off king, I'm sure being good at the easiest Gears game of all time is really affirming

I personally don't want to comment on the change to wall bouncing. I just rather play it and get a feel / vibe for the game at this point. Its always vastly different with sliding and jumping. Might work out, might not. E-Day is just a different beast

@X0X_LEAK Sub 50% win rate, GM peaks, hard stuck metal rank ppl die to everything - it doesn’t matter who’s nerfed - you will still be bad and complaining about someone because you are being farmed in quick play. We don’t need your input for adjustments. This character didn’t need a nerf.

@ChaseIsSavage I will argue to say, with 4v4 the player pool is smaller plus the new movement. But we have done this dance before. Lol I guess we will have to wait and see

the new running animation looks bad tbh. is it too late to revert to the roadie run 😅 Also, give us 8 shots in the gnasher. We’ve tried 6 and all hated it. I don’t get the logic in reducing it again lol

E-Day looks interesting. I’m all for some new mechanics. I just hope the risks pay off. I wonder if the movement in campaign will be the same as PvP, since they historically nerf movement in the campaign (for some odd reason).
