It was nice to see pleiotropic effects being resolved during adaptation too.

Even more interesting was the shift we observed in the adaptive mutational spectra, suggesting adaptation routes contingent to short evolutionary history. Pathways that regulate growth in response to nutrient availability have long been associated with stress responses.
