Children are born atheists. They don’t believe in gods until someone teaches them. Religious belief isn’t natural, it’s indoctrinated.

That won't just magically pop into their head unless they hear it from some outside source. God isn't real, and nobody is born knowing what god is or believing in it.

Babies are not born atheists. You are correct that they are not born with explicit knowledge about God or religion but they also do not hold a position about the non-existence of gods. Babies don’t have that level of conceptual thinking yet so they are NEUTRAL!
