did a thing.

Life update: I’m leaving @perena almost a year ago, i dmed @shizudio asking for a chance. no plan, no clue what i was walking into. I joined as the "intern" doing a bit of everything replying, posting, editing, figuring things out 10 mins before deadlines. a lot of “yeah i got it” followed by asking chatgpt and claude how to actually get it done. never noticed when it happened, but somewhere along the way, things changed. I started taking things more seriously. It wasn't just about finishing tasks anymore; it was about ownership. I stopped just doing and started thinking about the why behind every move. I came in trying to find my place and left with a better sense of how I think, how I work, and what I actually care about. A big part of that growth was the people. I learned something from everyone on the team - how they execute and how they lead when things get messy. That kind of environment forces you to level up whether you're ready or not. @shizudio had the biggest impact on me. not just as a mentor, but in how she completely shifted how i think about work and life. she pushed me when i needed it, called things out when they weren’t good enough, and trusted me before i fully trusted myself. that combination changed a lot for me. she set a standard i’ll carry into everything i do next. @perena gave me more than I ever expected: good people, real responsibility, and experiences I’ll carry for a long time. I’m still figuring out what I’m actually good at and what I want to do long-term. But I think that’s the right place to be. Asking those questions now matters more than pretending to have all the answers. Closing this chapter with more than i came in with. Onto the next one.
