I've seen a lot of humble investors. - Honest 200%. - Doing amazing research. - Smarter than 90% of people here. - Working hard. - Helpful. - Passionate about investing. But there's one thing. They're often introverts. They consider self promotion as being egoistic. They dislike putting themselves out there. Let me tell you one thing. If you don't tell others about how amazing you are, you're missing out. You will be outshined by people who are not as half as smart as you are, but are 3 times more vocal about their qualities. Being discovered slowly and honestly may work, but many times it will not. It could take decades before someone hears about you. Stop f ing waiting. Tell us about your qualities. If you don't tell me about your advantages, how am I supposed to discover them? While I would like to read 20000 articles on substack, there's a high chance I don't have time for all of them. I want to pick the best ones. Being humble is fine. Telling others about your qualities is not something bad. Brand building is 95% of your writing/research business. Don't wait. Take action. Fight for your spot under this sun. No one else will do it for you. I'm not telling you how amazing I am simply because you already know it.
