the most annoying part about drawing mario with sharper features is that every time I have to do a frontal shot of him I gotta figure out how to properly draw his fucked up jawline pretty much from scratch

Felt like doing a bit of an artstyle study to avoid closing off the month without drawing anything of note, I think I'm pretty satisfied with the result

Doing this has kinda allowed me to vaguely understand why so many comic projects I've kept tabs on have just silently gone under overtime, this is tough as fuck. At the same time though? God damn I'm making it look fuckin goooood, I'm proud of myself.

A lesser man would use this day to post some lame bait and switch shit for his own amusement and no one else's, I will do no such thing, however I will only showcase some of the less noteworthy panels I've got done so far instead cause the rest is too brutal to spoil lol

I'm definitely hyping this up a lil too much though, in reality it's just gonna be 2 pages long, action-packed stuff is surprisingly tough to handle lmao

I'm having the biggest hard-on of my life drawing this

I rarely ever try to play around with emotions the way I'm doing it here so at least that's a nice bonus for all the complicated stuff I'm trying to pull off here

I'm finally working on something interesting, it may take a hot minute to finish but I'm dead set on getting it done regardless cause I've had this specific idea for way longer than I'm proud to admit

This year I definitely gotta try making a better looking fight scene than this, I gotta add, I'd be very disappointed in myself if I didn't even give it a shot

I never seem to have anything prepared for today, but at least I still got plenty of old drawings I still feel relatively comfortable reposting on situations like these. Happy Mar10 day!

Admittedly though this is just an excuse for me to make quick reposts while I keep working on cooler shit to dump here in the near future
