On December 29, 2025, I defended my dissertation and passed! I am so grateful for my community that was able to get me to this point. Cannot wait for my next destination on this journey! 🫶🏾

Super grateful that I got to witness and celebrate my brother this weekend. He graduated from Northwestern University with his Master of Science in Computer Engineering! Forever proud of him and his accomplishments 💜

BREAKING NEWS: a government watchdog confirmed the Trump administration is breaking the law by blocking NIH funds.   How many kids with cancer or grandmas with Alzheimer’s have to get closer to death while crucial research is stalled?  Trump must end this illegal funding freeze.

I have found balance! I have made progress on my dissertation while also enjoying life and seeing artists that I love 🫶🏾

I have definitely been in the dissertating dumps. I did not realize that until recently when much anxiety has kept me home because “having fun” means I could be working on other more pressing things. Tbh I don’t think I’ll get out of this phase until I defend.
