Best friend finally bought a car. Time to resurrect this masterpiece by @Scearpo and @dirWormwood We have an all out war on drivers across the world right now. Governments doing everything they can to take this feeling from you. Driving is an expression of abundance. It is to burn petrol for the sake of experiencing what a tiny sliver of human existence has been privileged to know. Riding a motorbike is also like this, but turned up to 11 with an even higher risk reward, with less practicality - I cannot recommend it highly enough. The car is the perfect midway between the peak of human innovation - a fighter jet and the ubiquity of availability within the human condition - walking. By driving we come closer to death than at any other point in our life. This is where we feel most alive. To drive is to live. To drive is to touch greatness even if you are a complete nobody. You keep me under your spell. I am real human being. And a real hero.
