@AllisonPearson I have just been discharded from a major hospital in Birmingham my staff nurse had just arrived from India where she openly admitted she’d had just 6 months training, if we allowed our students this alacrity a lot more would join the NHS

We shouldn’t need immigrants to prop up the NHS. Plenty of our own young people want to be doctors and nurses but there aren’t the places. Other countries train their own!
