Serious editing to omit ANY mention of Kairi...an insult not only to Kairi...but to Asuka & IYO as well. And, of course, pre-record it, because of backlash of said "WE WANT KAIRI!" chants. WWE screw up BIG TIME, and though the match will kill...they fucked up the story.

@CourtneyDagger Kairi would've been PERFECT coming out of this in the mid-card...chasing Bex or whomever the Women's I-C Champ would've been. Build her up from there.

@CourtneyDagger Well....SHE was the KEY CENTRAL FIGURE of this whole story. Asuka was doing TWO things here: becoming the very thing she has DESPISED her whole career, and wanting to ELEVATE her best friend/sister to the next level.

@CourtneyDagger Courtney....you're preachin' to the choir here...EVERYONE believes that now. This is just WWE DESPERATELY trying to cover its ass. And if Asuka & IYO's in-ring doesn't have "WE WANT KAIRI!" chants loud in the arena (and then MUTED for TV by WWE), I'd be surprised.

This is the most incoherent piece of rambling I may have heard in my entire life. The word canceled was never used. The report simply said an option would not be picked up in 2028. This is classic case of taking an article, and how spreading misinformation happens.
