@thedefiedge Or mint EUR0 (backed 1:1 with euTBL) by @usualmoney, put into savings product and get a fixed 3.5% APY without variable rates of lending markets.

Most crypto users hold 100% of their stablecoins in USD.
The problem is the dollar's down ~10% against the euro since January 2025.
If you're outside the US, your "stable" coins are quietly bleeding purchasing power.
So it might be a good idea to diversify your stables so you're not completely exposed to USD.
Here are a few non-USD stables gaining traction onchain:
• $EURC → The most widely used euro stablecoin. ~€393M in circulation, fully backed by euro reserves, MiCA compliant. Yields at ~2.6% on Aave (ETH) and ~2.9% on Fluid (Base).
• $EURcv → Issued by Societe Generale–FORGE. Full reserve backing, strong compliance focus. Built for institutional use cases. A major European bank putting its name on a stablecoin is a signal worth watching.
• $VCHF → Onchain Swiss franc exposure. Issued under Liechtenstein's regulatory framework. Hold CHF denominated stable liquidity and deploy it across trading, lending, or DeFi strategies.
These aren't replacing dollar stables.
But tariffs, rate cuts, inflation, elections. Macro is a mess and nobody knows where it's heading. You can't predict the future. You can hedge against it.
For the first time, you can actually do that with stablecoins.

For years, getting euro stablecoins in meant going through an exchange.
Exchanges were built for trading, not for connecting your bank to your money.
That changes today.
Every Usual account now has a dedicated IBAN. Deposit euros from any bank via SEPA and your EUR0 balance updates automatically. SEPA Instant settles in seconds.
Standard SEPA settles in one to two business days.
To exit, send EUR0 back over the same rail. Euros land in your bank account.
The infrastructure runs on @monerium, Europe’s first licensed issuer of regulated electronic money, fully MiCA-compliant. Funds safeguarded by law. Redemption at par. No exceptions.
We built this as the foundation. From here, everything Usual develops connects directly to the financial system you already use.
Your euros. Your terms.

A beautiful little ode to golf ⛳️
I just started playing last year and I'm little embarrassed to admit it because it's associated with a lot of things I don't like (clubbiness, exclusivity, privilege, etc)
But the game itself is beautiful and I agree with everything he said.

I had a blast having Thomas Laffont on Uncapped. He's the cofounder of Coatue, a $70B AUM firm investing from inception through IPO. We discussed how he makes sense of the current AI cycle, what he thinks will happen to software systems of record, why he has no issue making conflicting investments, what it's like working with his brother, and advice to young people. I learned a ton and it he shared a bunch of perspectives I don't often get to hear. Hope you enjoy.

We are launching EUR0 today to bridge DeFi and the Eurozone!
Fully collateralized and backed 1:1 by European Treasury bonds thanks to @Spiko_finance, EUR0 is our first step in turning the euro from a sidelined currency into a core player in onchain finance.
The next step is launching a yield-in-kind version, making your EUR holdings productive.
Usual@usualmoney
🏦 DeFi runs on dollars: 99% of the liquidity is in USD. Europe’s on-chain economy barely exists. That imbalance shapes who earns yield and who controls liquidity. It’s time to bring the euro on-chain 🇪🇺👇
