@rockerskating I think synchro nationals are at the Maverik this season, and I suspect there will be more opportunities for us to get used to the venue in the lead up to the games! SLC has some organizers who are very motivated to host competitions.

Well all this talk about obstructed seats in 2002 and this is sounding better. Plus the delta center has been getting renovated for hockey purposes?

there’s also no chairs in the lobby?? And hardly any chairs/tables near the snack bar?? This place is shockingly anti-comfort for grownups

one thing I did not expect about great wolf lodge is for the chairs in the water park to be so terribly uncomfortable 😫

@clhubes I’ve always assumed there’s some sort of Rasputin-type regent, but I’d really like to see Frozen 1.5, in which Elsa has to wrestle power back now that she’s old enough.

truly cruel that as something with an advanced maternal age pregnancy, my main pregnancy side effects are aches & pains, exhaustion, and age spots. where is the luscious pregnancy hair?! where was the 2nd trimester burst of energy?! the glowy skin?!

all of her loved ones have elaborate games in which we have scripted content. with me, she plays baby bird or baby/mama (i'm the baby). with her dad, she's a lion cub. with her uncle, she's a dragon. apparently the games have expanded to recess!

took cupcakes to my kiddo's class for her birthday today, and they went around the class and everyone said something like about her (in mandarin!). most popular answer: her games. 🤣🤣🤣

No one nearly sat on me while boarding my flight so not a bad start to weekend travel.
