WELCOME TO THE NHS IN 2026 I do not know this lad’s situation but my clear issue is with an English person being faced with this in an English hospital. Is this really the cream of the crop we’re paying to come in and serve us? It’s beyond unacceptable.

He sadly d*ed of his injuries shortly after. There have been at least 221 recorded non-fatal cassowary attacks on humans. Before and after Phillip McClean, people have been knocked down, lacerated, and hospitalised by cassowaries usually after approaching or feeding them. But a fatal attack remained extraordinarily rare. Phillip McClean is only the first of two documented people in history to be killed by a cassowary. The second was a 75-year-old Florida man named Martin Hajos in 2019, kil*ed by a bird he had raised himself on his farm.

@hardin64629 @KieraDiss I’ve had African nurses make me cry , male Africans rude and judgemental and abrupt . They look at you with such disdain. This was in the mental hospital. Where vulnerable people are. Also I could barely understand any of them. Worst experience of my life.

@KieraDiss For what reason do you assume these people are not the cream of the crop? I would have thought in this day and age that it was unacceptable to make judgements about a person based solely on how they look, but sadly, in your case It seems to be what you do.
