Reminder that US Air Force Tankers are all parked just few meters from the civilian Terminals at Ben Gurion Airport.
If one of them were hit during the war, the explosion would have caused several casualties.
It raises the question why was the US confident taking this risk ? Maybe they warned Iran of significant retaliation on civilian infrastructures if they targeted Israel's only "civilian" airport ? Or just confidence in their Air Defenses deployed in Jordan & Israel ?
