You make a good point, and it highlights why many women may find video gaming unattractive. Some women associate video games with a lack of productivity, yet some of the most productive and successful people I’ve met are avid gamers. If you knew a man was far more productive than most people, would his gaming still seem unattractive?

YES. That’s exactly it. I have no problem if men say it is unattractive for women to be on socal media, take selfies, watch reality tv, etc. it is all true. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Video games are inherently unproductive. It is unattractive for a man to be unproductive for hours on end. It always will be.

Women do seem to dislike when adult men play video games. Still, I’m not convinced that female instinct should be the standard for male behavior. Women might find it more attractive if a man spent his free time at bars, but that hardly makes it a better long-term option. Men need healthy ways to decompress. Compared with drinking, gambling, and other common outlets, moderate gaming is relatively harmless and may offer cognitive benefits. Studies link gaming with improvements in attention, spatial reasoning, processing speed, multitasking, and decision-making. People unwind in different ways. Men and women enjoy different things. That’s fine. If a man is fulfilling his responsibilities, gaming shouldn’t be viewed negatively. Women also do plenty of things that men find unattractive or irritating. Think it through.

I know this is unpopular, but it will always be unattractive for a grown man to play video games. Some women might be understanding or pretend like they don’t care that you spend hours playing, but they do. It is extremely unattractive to women and will never not be. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Place is packed. The line moves like a production line and the orders move in code — “Combo, juicy, hot, fries.” “Beef, dipped, sweet.” “Beef, juicy, mixed.” “Two beef plain, dry, fries.” Middle-aged blue-collar guys hunched at the high counter, elbows out, heads down, executing the Italian beef stance — that prayer-posture forced on a man by a sandwich too wet to hold level. Grease blooms through the paper bag like a wound through gauze. Sweet peppers slump green and obedient. Giardiniera hot enough to make your eyes water from two stools down. Behind the counter the gravy steams in its vat, beef bobbing in its own broth. All tables occupied. Negotiation by eye — the nod, the held look, the freemasonry of the hungry waiting on a chewing jaw to finish so they can take a seat while it’s still warm. I feel good. I like beef.

We must call this for what it is: voter suppression that will silence Black and brown voters. The magnitude of this decision cannot be understated — it guts the Voting Rights Act and its very purpose of protecting all voices. Every American deserves an equal vote.

@TayXLamar @Breaking911 Sure, he inherited some deficit from the prior Dem mayor. But Mamdani ran on empty promises he’ll never deliver. There will never be enough money for socialist promises—they destroy incentives to produce wealth. Most tested & failed system in history.

@_VitaMC_ @aakashgupta Some evidence: a crucified rabbi’s terrified followers became people who died proclaiming they saw him alive — days later, in Jerusalem, where anyone could’ve produced the body. Nobody did. Skeptics like Paul and James converted.

@dividebyzero @aakashgupta Christianity has utility because social pressure and the threat of eternal damnation keeps room temperature IQs from murdering and raping on sight, a perquisite for the Enlightenment. Congrats on the useful fiction, but that’s not evidence

This is a single human cell. The white tubes are microtubules. The colored beads are ribosomes. You have 37 trillion of these. Every cell in your body is a manufacturing plant running 24/7 without supervision. Each ribosome (the colored beads) is assembling a protein right now. A single ribosome chains together about 20 amino acids per second. A typical mammalian cell contains millions of ribosomes. Every cell in your body is forming hundreds of millions of peptide bonds per second. Continuously. The white worm-like tubes are microtubules, the cell's internal highway system. Motor proteins called kinesin walk along them on two protein legs, carrying cargo from one end of the cell to the other at around 800 nanometers per second. Each cell has thousands of these tracks with thousands of motor proteins walking on them simultaneously. The blue mesh on the outside is the actin cortex. It holds the cell shape against pressure. It's also being torn down and rebuilt constantly. Every cell rewrites its own structural skeleton every few minutes. Now scale that. 37 trillion cells. Each running millions of ribosomes. Each running hundreds of mitochondria producing ATP at roughly 100 million molecules per second. Your total daily ATP turnover is around your full body weight. You synthesize and consume your bodyweight in ATP every 24 hours. The DNA in a single cell stretches 2 meters uncoiled. End to end across all 37 trillion cells, that's enough to reach the sun and back 250 times. None of this is voluntary. None of it stops. It started when you were one cell and hasn't paused since.

@_VitaMC_ @aakashgupta Logic builds computers — it doesn't tell you why murder is wrong or why humans have rights. And modern science came out of Christian Europe, not in spite of it. Newton, Kepler, the universities, the hospitals, abolition. "Religion produces nothing" is just historically wrong.

@_VitaMC_ @aakashgupta "Start from ignorance" isn't actually neutral — it's its own position. You're already trusting logic, your senses, an orderly universe. And if your brain was just shaped by survival, why trust it to find truth? Christianity says reason works because a Mind is behind it all.

@dividebyzero @aakashgupta I was simply highlighting that your belief is at best just as absurd and unfounded. The only rational position is to start from a place of ignorance and discover the world from first principles.

Many experts point to positive evidence beyond just “gaps.” James Tour on abiogenesis barriers, Stephen Meyer on biological information, Hugh Ross on cosmic fine-tuning, John Lennox on the mathematical universe, and Wes Huff on the historical Jesus. What evidence would convince you?

@_VitaMC_ @aakashgupta Mockery does the work that the argument can’t. Is it really more believable that information-rich biology came from undirected chemistry (which no lab has reproduced) than that it shows marks of a mind?
