First win of the season for Durham City U15s! Jess P (35*) and Amulya (50*) helped us to 116, with Lottie G making her first knock of the season. We defended it well with consistent bowling and great team fielding! Well played all!

An excellent day of comp for our biathletes. All our athletes finished top 12 in the north. Congratulations to Wilf B who finished 1st & is northern champion, Katriona R & Leo H both finished in 3rd place. DJ got special mention as only school to have 4 complete teams #DJPE

Our yr8 girls & boys as well as yr 7 boys & girls have completed their 800m run rest up now for the swim later #DJPE

An early start this morning for our athletes who have arrived in Lancaster to compete in the northern regional biathlon championships. Running starts at 10.00am. Good luck to all #DJPE Thank you Mr H for taking them & happy birthday 🎂

An excellent performance by our Y8 basketball team in the Tyneside Schools tournament at St Cuthbert’s. They won all their games including a 23-11 victory in their final game against the hosts. We now meet Dame Allan’s in the final after Christmas. Brodie S was POM #DJPE

Another battling performance this afternoon by our U14 girls. We lost 66-22 to a very strong team from Trinity High. A great team performance from all 13 girls. ETA at school approx 6.30 #DJPE

An excellent performance by our U14 girls basketball team against Didsbury High. We lost 78-41 but never gave up. On to play the current national champs from Trinity this afternoon #DJPE

Our U14 girls basketball team have arrived in Manchester to play Didsbury High in the national cup this morning #DJPE

The Year 9 football team dominated play tonight at the Bishop Auckland CVL with 3 wins and a draw. POT Grace for keeping a clean sheet. #DJPE

Despite dominating the first half and 1-1 at HT, the Y11 team lost 4-1 against English Martyrs (reigning national champions). Goal scored by James O ⚽️. Special mention to Zach S and POM-Will H for stepping up. #DJPE

Final league matches of the netball season saw our Y7 win 20-1 POM Katriona R. Y8 played some fantastic netball and never gave up 7-23 POM Lizzy W final training session tomorrow and League tournaments in February. #DJPE

Despite never giving up and scoring 20 points our Y10 girls basketball team lost comfortably to the current national champions from Trinity School Manchester. Lily G was POM #DJPE
