@Mat_Zo I'm old as fuck, but back in the early 90's this genre was very popular on the rave scene. With big goa trance hits like "Man with no name - Sugar rush" I remember thinking it would cross over to the commercial scene but it didn't quite get there for some reason.

Goa trance (not to be confused with psytrance) is f***ing insane. It's supposed to be meditative and spiritual but it's the most ADHD dance music I've ever heard. Recommend me more
