@AllAubarn @AubieSon We need a back up PG who is willing to sit and play behind Tahaad and KO and stay for a couple years. Like a J’von McCormick level player

@Joseydyp @TheLifeUvJr A lot of them will be open to listening. Probably better if it comes from a fellow Indian but you can educate them and be nice about it. It’s not really their fault, they simply don’t know and have never been told to do it.

@djharshdaddy @TheLifeUvJr My theory is that many ppl the immigrated from India grew up super poor and didn’t see value in spending money on hygiene like deodorant. Sometimes I just wanna say how bad they smell bc honestly they walk around everywhere not knowing the amount of ppl that talk shit lol

@Joseydyp @TheLifeUvJr Yeah it’s something that they don’t think of typically. I’m Indian and I think it’s a fair criticism tbh. I don’t think anyone needs to be so grossly racist about it. If you gently educate people you come across I don’t see a problem with that, and I’ve done it before

@Joseydyp @TheLifeUvJr There is a culture difference regarding use of deodorant, washing clothes after multiple uses. Some people think Americans are dirty for not using bidets. Kinda the same concept. I grew up in the US and dad was an immigrant but always used deodorant and I was raised that way

@PwrofDixieland He's a good player. He's young. He's doing what others are advising him. I'm glad to have had him. I'd love it if he changed his mind.

@_JHokanson Just for clarity: when these sort of numbers get thrown around, is this what their perceived value is per year or for a multiple year contract?

@_JHokanson IMO we only needed one between SWA and Jovic. I prefer SWA because he showed signs of being able to hit the 3 consistently.

@0yOlives The only thing I’d say is that it was easy for me because learning in general was easy for me (I don’t mean that in an arrogant way). Some people who try for medicine really really can’t understand new info quickly. Some people never learn how to study and quit early in undergrad

@0yOlives @YounisJoseph The information itself isn’t super difficult other than a few concepts. The amount of information you have to learn in the first two years is pretty brutal. Then you take board exams that determine your whole future in your second and third years. Not as hard as people think.

In the second article I just published as a sequel to this, I go into the downstream effects of rejecting American medical students, what the match looks like, and why it looks that way. Here's a crazy stat: IMGs spend ~$298M every year to try to match, and half don't.

@burner_auburn Chance, Tahaad, Overton would be a sick backcourt. Tahaad getting a chance at the 2 would be fantastic

@djharshdaddy @AllAubarn I guess when I get sane I can become an urgent care doctor. How insane is it to go to medical school & then work in an urgent care? Always heard that’s where the low IQ docs go

@BamaGoose256 @AllAubarn This is actually an insane take and I can’t believe a real human typed that out. I can say anything that can be untrue one hour later, especially something as liquid as the transfer portal.

@JakeCrain_ Feel good that the players chose to play, stick to it, competed and looked proud to do so. Our personal opinions matter less.

I don’t think Auburn will ever have a player like Dylan Cardwell again. Stayed his entire collegiate career. Contributed to winning every year. Positive attitude. Worked hard. Loves Auburn. Carving out an NBA career now. Miss that guy.
