@the_artbishop @utopolo2025 @Kanairo @rodgers_adai Sorry, my bad for assuming you were middle class.
Housing for middle class in TZ is hella expensive. The weight of any economy is carried by the middle class, those with payslips.
You wouldn't know that.
Sorry, I was engaging the wrong tax bracket.
Bye.

English

@djibww @utopolo2025 @Kanairo @rodgers_adai A simple google search says the same. Think beyond Masaki area and the whole of TANZANIA, then come engage on the GDP debate without the 'I have, 'I live', and many other assumptions over the internet. You will be shocked that you are the nobody in real life. 😂

English

I stated that Tanzania is wealthier, has better planning compared to Kenya. Round II. In fact second only to Egypt in Africa.
Tanzania is constructing 2500km of SGR and financing 60% from Exchequer. About US$ 5B and borrowing only US$2B.
Kenyan SGR is only 600km so far and it is borrowing 100%.
Kenya can't do 200km of a mere Bitumen Road Limuru Mau Summit and has to resort to a PPP which is a very expensive Loan???
Tanzania has just completed Julius Nyerere 2115MW HPP at a cost of US$ 2.9 Billion from Exchequer and has paid 100% No loan.
Kenya doesn't have money for for a much smaller Grand Falls 1000 MW.
Kenya's Debt is KShs 13 Trillion. Tanzania is 50% of that figure.
In fact which is the biggest Project Kenya has financed from its own resources the last 20 years?
I can't think of any.
Forget the cooked GDP figures that Kenya is the biggest Economy.
English

@the_artbishop @utopolo2025 @Kanairo @rodgers_adai English is a problem i see. What is the difference between locals and the rich? The rich are not locals, or? Only two things that a dollar would get you more in Dar for locals.... local food and transport. Nothing else.
English

@djibww @utopolo2025 @Kanairo @rodgers_adai The same way you assume you are an 'investor' and I am a tourist? Yes a dollar would get you much more in TZ than Kenya. The whole TZ economy doesn't revolve around Masaki area. Did you know to weigh an economic performance, studies are pegged on locals and not the rich?
English

@the_artbishop @utopolo2025 @Kanairo @rodgers_adai It is making assumptions like these that led you into assuming a dollar would get you much in TZ than Kenya. I work for myself.
English

@djibww @utopolo2025 @Kanairo @rodgers_adai Sharing a pitch deck to validate your 'richness'. People with money don't talk about the money they have. Let me guess, you work with Trademark Africa, KNCCI or Zakayo Njeru's The Sales House. No? Does Kinanasy, Raphael, Angelina or Onesmo know you are sharing their comms? 🤦🏿♂️🤣
English

@the_artbishop @utopolo2025 @Kanairo @rodgers_adai You saw a business and project plan and the first thing that you thought was, rich? Says more about you than me.
Crazy a tourist arguing the cost of living with someone that lives in Tanzania and has businesses across the country. It borders on madness.
English

@gaagana_ Did that. Trained my model on historical and current data then ran audits after every jackpot outcome for improvements.
Limited to 10k slips per jackpot. Best I could do is 3 to 4 10/13 correct slips for each jackpot. Many 9/10. Shelved the website i built to sell slips.
English

@C_NyaKundiH While politicians in the US might have insider info on political decisions that might influence the outcome of prediction markets, no Kenyan politician will have insider info of the outcome of Man U vs Everton. Big difference between prediction markets and sportsbetting platforms
English

Just the other day, the U.S. Senate banned senators and their staff from betting in prediction markets because leaders with insider access should not be gambling on wars, crises or economic events.
Now look at Kenya.........
Three-quarters of the political class either owns, fronts for, protects, or benefits from gambling companies.
The same leaders who lecture young people about hard work are sitting on an industry that feeds on desperation. A poor youth loses Sh50, Sh100 or Sh500 every day chasing hope, then the same political class returns a fraction of that money as donations, sponsorships, church contributions and “empowerment.”
They harvest despair quietly, then return crumbs loudly with cameras rolling.
Kenyans deserve full disclosure....which leaders own betting companies? Who are the hidden shareholders? Who are the political protectors? Who is profiting from the losses of desperate citizens?
Public office should not be a casino. Leadership should not be powered by betting slips and broken dreams.
English

@the_artbishop @utopolo2025 @Kanairo @rodgers_adai Some of us are serious about both TZ and KE and not just online yappers. I am well travelled across Tanzania, and have million $ projects coming up among other opportunities.
You travel, eat mihogo at coco beach then do Kitambaa Cheupe and go back to Nairobi.

English

@djibww @utopolo2025 @Kanairo @rodgers_adai You win and you are right. The GDP and development of TZ is determined by living in Masaki 😂
English

@the_artbishop @utopolo2025 @Kanairo @rodgers_adai Look for money then go live in Dar es Salaam see how far the money gets you.
You won't even get a bedsitter anywhere in Dar 20km from the city centre for 10k kes.
English

@djibww @utopolo2025 @Kanairo @rodgers_adai On the dick-measuring contest, you win. Now go back to the original tweet and read it, then make a contribution based on that. Otherwise the childish insults just make you look like online forex traders who flex to compensate for their scarcity mentality. 😂
English

@djibww @utopolo2025 @Kanairo @rodgers_adai On groceries... Farmers Market? Simara? Be Organic? Garden Market?
English

@the_artbishop @utopolo2025 @Kanairo @rodgers_adai No one in Tanzania is using these websites to house hunt, people use Dalalis on IG as IG is very big in TZ. The fact that you googled these websites is evidence you were a visitor in TZ, not really lived.
English

@djibww @utopolo2025 @Kanairo @rodgers_adai Is this better? Wasn't what you shared from the internet too? Is the country's GDP only determined by Masaki area?
hassanphillips.co.tz/properties/apa…
English

@the_artbishop @utopolo2025 @Kanairo @rodgers_adai What are you talking about. Lang'ata has serious middle class. Upper middle class and it is very expensive. Sinza on the other hand is too small. This is what 10k gets you at Sinza, a bedsitter only with the toilet. No kitchen cabinet or sink. You share a common kitchen outside.

English

@djibww @utopolo2025 @Kanairo @rodgers_adai You can get 50-100k houses in places like Langata. Everyone lives where they can afford to. They are getting value for their money.
English

@the_artbishop @utopolo2025 @Kanairo @rodgers_adai Google is good but none of those have groceries except shoppers, amd other than shoppers the rest are not on the Peninsula.
Google won't give you lived experience, sorry, little nigga
English

@djibww @utopolo2025 @Kanairo @rodgers_adai Shrijee Supermarket? Village Supermarket? Shoppers Supermarket? Norde Supermarket? Jambo Supermarket? Littlemore?
English

@the_artbishop @utopolo2025 @Kanairo @rodgers_adai You are dumb. Live in Tanzania first. Clearly, you haven't lived there.
English

@djibww @utopolo2025 @Kanairo @rodgers_adai 2 bedroom house Lavington $2900 unfurnished
buyrentkenya.com/listings/furni…
Eesti

@the_artbishop @utopolo2025 @Kanairo @rodgers_adai I also saw this. Now the dingie place you call Kitambaa Cheupe is where most Kenyans live because it is affordable. That's where you get the 15k and 20k houses. At the same place you get 50k houses. Imagine how bad it has to be to get a 50k house even 100k house around that area.

English

@djibww @utopolo2025 @Kanairo @rodgers_adai A four bedroom stand alone fully furnished house in TZ. Rent $1500
