Don’t even go there. Nigeria has her own challenge as a country but you will not talk down on us like this.
Nigeria has very talented people that are hardworking and will never give up on this country.
Thag said, our leaders are extremely bad and they are the problem we have in Nigeria once thag problem is gone it will gradually become a good country
English

Perhaps Nigeria is a very terrible country in ways we fail to understand. You cannot celebrate to leave your home country in this manner.

@PeterObi But you never believed in democracy, you worked for Abacha, and helped him launder Nigeria’s money. Last week you said Abacha was better than the freedom fighters and all those he killed. You can never reap where you didn’t sow.
English

We, members and leaders of the ADC, and other well-meaning Nigerians, lovers of democracy, are saying that our democracy must not be killed. We say NO to a one-party system and for that today we’re calling out Nigerians who believe in unity, peace, and security of our country to join us as we defend democracy in our land.

@_Abdulakeem_ You see this, soon I will drag one big vendor here, I still dey keep the receipt for the person. The cup will either be half full or a half glass cup. Just soon
English

I got updates from the beneficiaries not long ago, and they have all come out to post evidence of how well the new vendor delivered.
And to also add, thanks to Abazz, they ended up receiving two jerseys each after he refused to collect back the first ones he sent, even after stating in his previous post that he would. This further proves the point that the first jerseys delivered did not meet the expected standard because why would he want to lose a whole 300k.
This is to Abazz.
When issues arise, there’s no need to act based on emotions. After I called you out for not allowing me pick the winners, every step that followed seemed driven by anger.
You knew what you did when those jerseys were sent out, but you assumed people would accept them that way. Not everyone is willing to be cheated.
If I hadn’t spoken up, those beneficiaries would have ended up with jerseys they couldn’t confidently wear.
Imagine receiving something like that as a gift from a top footballer.
Imagine the excitement of being selected, only to receive something far below expectation.
That would have been disappointing.
I’m sure you’ve learnt from this, because situations like this affect trust and brand reputation. I hope you do better going forward.
To Abazz’s friends and supporters.
I hope you can now see for yourselves what blind followership looks like. Many of you were quick to call me names without taking time to understand why I spoke up in the first place.
I’m sure a good number of small accounts must have had similar experience but swept under the carpet. It’s high time everything stopped.
At this point, it’s only fair to acknowledge what has been revealed.
If you’re looking to get a quality jersey from a reliable vendor, kindly reach out to @Ayomide0078 , he has proven himself and delivered excellently.
Thank you all for your attention throughout the saga.
Sambo.

BBC Africa anchor, Waihiga Mwaura made this post about his interview with @aonanuga1956. Screen 1:
"I spoke to Nigerian President Tinubu's comms advisor Bayo Onanuga on #FocusOnAfrica about the recent attack in Jos (22+ deaths), why President Tinubu met the affected families only at the airport and why there have been no arrests so far."
Then Dali Viq, a Kenyan, commented. Screen 2:
"Terrible... Sorry Nigerians. You don't have a government and only God can literally save you. May the Almighty God rescue you and give you justice and peace."
Me: As a Nigerian just listen to Onanuga and tell me if you are not ashamed that this is the best we can have as a presidential spokesman. He is not even ashamed even when telling obvious lies and so incoherent.

The Nigerian Medical Association has now confirmed that Blessing CEO deceived and defrauded Nigerians by parading a fake and forged medical report of breast cancer which originally belongs to someone else called Mbara Deborah. The NMA says Blessing CEO fraudulently forged this document to deceive the public for money.
The NMA is now calling on the government and all relevant authorities to please step in and “do the needful to save unsuspecting members of the public from being taken advantage of.”
It is a shame that it has gotten to this.
But I completely agree with the NMA that this fraudulent disgraceful attempt to mock the pain of real cancer patients, to minimise the distress of people who have lost loved ones to cancer and to exploit the kindness of Nigerians is an insane behaviour that we must not tolerate as a society.
This fraudulent deception needs to stop.

Yesterday, I spent Easter Sunday with our dear President, Bola Tinubu, and my bestie Aliko Dangote. We discussed the economy and how Nigerians can benefit from the reforms.
On a day of resurrection and renewal, Mr President was still working. That kind of commitment gives you hope for Nigeria 🇳🇬 … F.Ote💲

I really hope this video goes viral and the Nigeria Police Force sees this and does something about it.
This happened in Abulado, Lagos. Me and my guy @ehispascal were on a bike when four officers stopped us. We came down peacefully, no issues at all. One officer was talking to me, another to my guy. Everything was calm. They were asking questions and we answered calmly because we had nothing to hide.
They asked me to open my phone, and I didn’t hesitate because I didn’t want any problem. Suddenly, out of nowhere, one man came from behind and slapped me. Even the officer checking my phone was shocked and asked what just happened.
At that moment, I didn’t even know he was a police officer because he wasn’t in uniform. Out of anger, I reacted and slapped him back and even tried to confront him. That’s when the others held me and told me he was an officer. That’s when I realized everything was already planned.
Next thing, all of them started beating us. It was bad. My guy’s face even got swollen. They then threatened to take us to the station. I told them no problem, let’s go, but the officer who slapped me must come along too.
I told them when we get to the station, they would know who my father is. They kept asking for his name, but I refused and said they would find out at the station.
That’s when they got scared. Instead of taking us to the station, they drove us to a bridge, dropped us there, and told us to go.

@boye4christ2006 When a parent feel the need to hit/beat the child, before he/she listen to correction or become obedient, that parent has lost control. Hitting your child in anger, is not discipline/correction. Your child loses trust in you and see you as a threat.

The day a Nigerian father in the UK called the police on his own daughter, people thought he had lost his mind but he hadn’t. He had simply understood the gamebefore it destroyed his home.😎
She is 14. Back in Nigeria? Calm. Respectful. No issues.
Even when they first relocated to the UK, she was still that same good girl.
Then suddenly something shifted.
“Shut up,” she told her mother one day, when her mum corrected her.
The mother froze.
Maybe it was a bad mood.
But it didn’t stop there.
If her father spoke, she would stand chest to chest with him, eyes locked, almost daring him.
Like she was waiting.
Waiting for something.
At first, they thought it was teenage phase.
But this one didn’t feel normal.
It felt calculated.
One day, the father asked her to do something simple.
She refused.
She stood right in front of him and said, boldly,
“I’m not doing it.”
And then she waited.
That moment… that silence… that eye contact…
She was hoping he would react.
You know that Nigerian reflex.
That “I will show you I’m your father” reaction.
But her dad did something nobody expected.
He picked up his phone and called the police.
The mother panicked.
“Are you serious?!”
He said calmly,
“If I touch her, they will carry me. Let them carry her instead.”
When the police arrived, he didn’t shout.
He didn’t explain too much.
He just said,
“Please take her.”
In the UK, once a child starts acting out like that, they often süsp3ct m£nt@l health issues.
So the officers said they would take her for evaluation.
The moment she heard “mental health”
Her confidence disappeared.
Immediately.
She started begging.
Crying.“Please, mummy… please, daddy…”
But het father didn’t move.
“Take her,” he repeated.
And they did.
That night, the house was quiet but heavy.
The next day, social services showed up.
They said,
“She’s been crying non-stop. She wants to talk.”
The father said,
“Not yet.”
On the second day, they said
“She hasn’t eaten. She keeps begging.”
Finally, he agreed to see her.
The moment she stepped back into that house,
She didn’t argue.
She didn’t stand tall.
She went straight to the floor.
Kneeing.
Crying.
Begging.
That was when the truth came out.
Her friends in school had told her.
Provoke your parents, they told her.
Make them hit you.
Report them.
The government will take you away, give you a house, money, freedom, iphone with free WiFi.
In her mind, she was about to upgrade her life. 😀
New phone.
Freedom.
Soft life.
But she didn’t know one thing
Not every parent will play the role you scripted for them especially Nigerians.
Her father didn’t react.
He redirected.
And the script, flipped on her.

Gunmen attacked the convoy of Zamfara Governor's Chief of Staff, Alhaji Mouktar Lugga, along the Funtua–Gusau highway on Thursday at about 6:16 p.m. Assailants emerged from both sides of the road and opened fire near Kucheri village. A bullet pierced the windshield, narrowly missing the driver. Another attacker's weapon failed to discharge at close range. The driver escaped the ambush; all occupants unhurt.

@official_QV @OracleAyo This is a half bake story. However, that doesn't mean the husband is a bad man.
English

My dad is 70 years old and has been living in my house for three years. When he warmed up and could no longer work, it was obvious that he couldn't stay alone in his apartment. I'm his only daughter and I decided to bring him to live with us. My husband wasn't really convinced from the beginning, but at the time he said we'd give it a try.
The house where we live is two stories. Upstairs are the rooms and downstairs is a small room that we used as a cellar. My husband said that room would be my daddy's space. We provide him with a single bed, a fan, a plastic chair and a table where he stores his medicines. It's a room at the back of the courtyard, away from the living room and dining room.
I tried to keep everything normal at first. Served him food and invited him to sit with us at the table. But every time my dad came near the dining room my husband got uncomfortable.

Tires with 11,000 miles and a nail. Firestone told me they are not repairable. Firestone said this is not repairable because of the location and that I would need a new tire. It's a slow leak, about 1-2 psi a day. I am in disbelief that this is not repairable.. Can I not just get a fix kit? 🤧

Lagos, Nigeria 🇳🇬 English

This woman is doing a contribution of ₦100k every month.
Her husband started complaining that the things she buys in the market don’t last, even though he gives her ₦200k monthly for a family of four.
When she told me, I advised she should be doing ₦20k instead, but she said no.
The husband got tired and stopped giving her money.
Now, he goes to the market himself every month and stocks whatever they need. He even did WiFi subscription for the house.
At this point, he only gives her ₦5k monthly for upkeep.
Now she has been owing five months’ contribution.

I pray her ajo members cast her so her eyes can blur small
