@DanBorsch @Kentuckyweather Sometimes you don’t see the result of these these projects until years down the line. Beautiful infrastructure restores dignity and pride to a community, you can’t quantify that on a balance sheet.

They do deserve just as good of a road system as Louisville or Lexington, however, we don’t need to waste money on a road that is overcapacity and that won’t pay dividends in the future. I’d have no problem spending money improving it, but we have way overbuilt what is needed. I hope I’m wrong, but I’d wager a significant amount of money I’m not. I’ve said the same thing about the Louisville Bridge Boondoggle and the Northern Kentucky bridge project.

The Houston Comets held their first media availability just now. Asked about the availability of the "Comets" name (the league is currently engaged in a trademark dispute over it), Rockets president of business operations Gretchen Sheirr said: "We feel very good that we're using Comets. I won't go into much detail -- that process is run by the WNBA -- but we feel very confident."
