It's not racist to want to protect an existing culture. Japan should be Japanese, China should be Chinese, Africa should be African, but heaven forbid Britain should be British, or Ireland, Irish, Scotland, Scottish etc. You don't walk into someone's home and demand they do everything to suit your ideas or beliefs. What if someone waltzed into some Islamic country and started to demand they change their culture, beliefs and ideas because they disagree with it? They'd likely meet a very violent end. Be thankful that the western culture is more civilized.

ARM THE IRANIAN PEOPLE ... IMHO, the people of Iran need to be armed.  Even if there are divisions among various opposition groups.  We cannot defeat the regime, which has demonstrated time and again it must be defeated, without the people within Iran having a fighting chance to destroy the regime from within.  I am not sure what the hesitancy is.  If arms were stolen, by whom and for what?  Regardless, it is the most direct way to take down the regime.  As I've pointed out before, President Reagan used this as part of his doctrine against the Soviet Union -- in Afghanistan, Angola, Nicaragua, etc.
