Realized it wasn’t just nerves… it’s rare I get nervous for a game anxiety maybe, but this it was me realizing how real this journey is. When you see everything God has done and the people who helped shape you standing in front of you, you take a second to feel it. First, all glory to God. My grandpa had a successful heart surgery, just got cleared by cardiologist now we are back home. Thank you Texas and DeSoto for everything you poured into me. Those lessons and that brotherhood helped build the player and who I am today Grateful to the Steve & Marjorie Harvey Foundation for believing in our journey and pouring into me and my brother. What you’re doing is bigger than football. Shoutout Gavin, Inside The Hash, Ant & Nico, Tyler Atkinson, Mr. Atkinson, and everyone who pushed me, believed in me, and prepared me for this moment. And thank you to the Grayson Football staff for opening the gates and welcoming me home literally. I’m ready. Being able to surprise @CoachCarswell with that moment meant everything. Coach, this is it!! Let’s do this!! Thank you! Sometimes God takes you away from where you started so He can prepare you for what’s next. Discipline & sacrifice was never optional. Whatever is happening soon will all be for family reasons. All I had was a US Marine father & and an ARMY soldier for a mom, so all I know is every rep matters, every decision matters, every day matters. God thank you for all the love and patience I have surrounded around me. Work with conviction, and be intentional. Always got to be prepared for any sudden changes. I LOVE YOU TEXAS.
