🚨 Man Utd were prepared to pay £75m for Carlos Baleba last summer, but Brighton held out for £100m+. United now have a relatively free run at the midfielder, but interest has cooled. They are prioritising other targets and Baleba is no longer at the top of the shortlist. Still an option, though Brighton remain notoriously difficult in negotiations. The player would jump at the move, contract and salary demands would be no issue for either side, but his performances this season have been underwhelming and a big fee wouldn't currently represent strong value. #MUFC

Lads, can you just stop trying to find issues? We've qualified for Europe. We should get 4/5 quality signings in and have a full pre-season with a new midfield. The way we play now will not be the same as with a new central midfield. Signings will be made for whatever manager is there in a number of years, not for a specific system, so stop worrying, the players aren't Carrick's, they're players for the INEOS game plan. If it doesn't work, it doesn't work, but wishing it to not work to be proven right isn't going to make you feel any better.
