Axios: Gas prices are rising again — and so is GOP grief in the midterms Krosnick, in a 2016 study looking at three decades of evidence, found that a 10-cent increase in gas prices caused a 0.6% drop in a president's approval ratings. He said the effect extends to the president in power's party. Link to article: axios.com/2026/07/19/gas…

🚨 FLASH FLOODING IN BEAVER 🚨 This is flooding in a neighborhood just south of town in Beaver, Utah this afternoon. Heavy rain falling over the Cottonwood Fire burn scar is sending mud, rocks, and debris rushing downstream. Areas that normally handle rain can quickly become overwhelmed after a wildfire, creating dangerous flash flooding and debris flows. If you’re in or near Beaver, stay away from flooded roads and drainages. It only takes a short burst of heavy rain over the burn scar to create life-threatening conditions. 📸: Braden Smith

@alexisence As the President stood there and lied this week that you “couldn’t even walk on” Grand Staircase or Bears Ears flanked by a smiling Mike Lee and Spencer Cox while saying that blatant lie, spare everyone your fake sincerity.

@alexisence FUND cheat grass mitigation. FUND BLM/Forest Service law enforcement budgets. FUND reseeding efforts. FUND conservation efforts and positions. FUND more land and range managers. FIX rules and laws that get these things caught up in litigation. Instead of whining about it.

🚨 FLASH FLOOD EMERGENCY FOR BEAVER CITY 🚨 THIS IS A LIFE-THREATENING SITUATION. A very large debris flow is moving down the Beaver River RIGHT NOW after heavy rain fell over the Cottonwood Fire burn scar. Officials say additional debris flow waves are expected, and another debris flow is already moving through the North Creek area. ⚠️ The Grove area of Beaver City is in immediate danger. This is a Flash Flood Emergency—the highest level of flash flood warning issued by the National Weather Service. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain has fallen over the Beaver Canyon area, triggering dangerous flooding and debris flows made up of mud, rocks, burned trees, and other debris. If you are anywhere near the Beaver River, North Creek, the Grove area, or the Cottonwood burn scar: ❗ MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND IMMEDIATELY. ❗ DO NOT drive through flooded roads or debris flows. ❗ Leave immediately if you’re under an evacuation order. This is a particularly dangerous situation. Burn scars can produce catastrophic flooding with little warning, and debris flows can destroy roads, vehicles, and buildings in seconds. Please share this post. Someone’s life could depend on it.

A Bachelor’s Degree still sets you far ahead in life, but at least do a couple years of college if you are able. It benefits beyond just a simple class schedule or degree.

Going to college should be something every American that can should do. At least get an Associates degree. College is a vital step in life to critical thinking, life progression, and finding your way to the next step that will impact the rest of your life.
