Breck, Sully & Parker accomplished their challenge! They finished 100 holes of golf, walking 22.5 miles with no cart rides or caddies! Way to go boys! Very proud of your efforts! Growth of the Game Foundation appreciates you giving back to the game!

They are in the home stretch! Less than 18 holes to go! Breck, Parker & Sully will finish around 7:00! -GOTGF in conjunction with Nick Christenson/State Farm & Pro Resources sponsor scholarships for graduating Boy & Girl Varsity golfers who have given back to their community!

66 holes in! 2/3rd's of the way done! Hoping we can greet them on their 100th hole with a crowd around 7:00? -GOTGF sponsored the 2nd annual International Women's Golf day in June, where 70 women participated in a 9 hole Scramble, followed by dinner & prizes!

50 holes in! The boys are at the 1/2 way point of their quest to play 100 holes of golf to raise for the Growth of the Game Foundation! -GOTGF conducts an annual family friendly Scramble which benefits the DL Boys & Girls Golf programs. It also puts on an annual youth clinic!

27 holes in! 73 holes to go! -Growth of the Game Foundation helped plan and fund the Bell Bank Golf room/simulator at the Detroit Lakes High School’s new Lakeshirts Fieldhouse.

Sully, Parker & Breck’s adventure of playing 100 holes of golf has begun! They are raising money for the Growth of the Game Foundation of Detroit Lakes. -GOTGF is responsible for purchasing sets of golf equipment for our DL elementary schools.

On Tuesday, 8/23, Sully Braaten, Breck Gatheridge & Parker Christianson will be raising money for the Growth of the Game Foundation by playing 100 holes of golf at Lakeview GC. Contributions are welcomed. GOTGF provides equipment and facilities for golfers in our community.

Our last Jr Golf Camp of the season coincided with the University of Jamestown Men’s and Women’s Golf teams practicing at Lakeview! Go Jimmies! Go campers!

Our Lakeview Jr. Classic concluded with our annual Parent Child Tournament. In the Wee Tee Division, Waylon & Eric Hoban and Finley and Brian Gatheridge tied with 61’s, but the Hoban’s won the putt off. In the older division, Tyson & Keith Eckhoff won with a 58! Fun memories!

The Wee Tee tournament featured 4 future Pine to Palmers! Chloe Hartel from Sauk Rapids won the Girls Division with a 51. In the Boys Division Aiden Hartel from Sauk Rapids won with a 49. Hudson Kuehn from Detroit Lakes was 2nd with a 51, and Waylon Hoban was 3rd with a 55!

In the Championship Flight, Boys 13 & over, Drew Simonich from Moorhead was the champion, Max Poole from Warroad was the runner up and Dawson Werth of Moorhead(not pictured) was the Consolation Flight winner.

In the Boys 13 & over division, the winner was Hunter Peterson of Fargo. Second place went to Jack Van Dam of Detroit Lakes.

In the Championship Flight of the Boys 10-12, it was another Detroit Lakes sweep! Medalist Tyson Eckhoff was 1st with 33-70-103, Parker Christianson was 2nd with 38-74-112, & Luke Tobkin was 3rd with 40-76-116.

In the First Flight of the Boys 10-12, Will Vincelli of Owatonna (center) shot 44-78-122 for 1st, Micah Werth of Moorhead (right) was 2nd with 44-96-140, & Byrton Kuenzel of DL (left) was 3rd with 51-96-147.

In the Girls 10-12, Detroit Lakes had another clean sweep! Sophie Christianson came in 1st with 42-40-82, and Adysen Witkowski (43-57-101) & Isabella Seuntjens (48-53-101) tied for 2nd!

In the girls 8 & 9 year old division, it was a clean sweep for the girls from Detroit Lakes. Jordyn Sliper was 1st with 46-43-89, Finley Gatheridge was 2nd shooting 52-55-107 & MacKenzie McDougall was 3rd with 52-57-109!
