If you really look at any other JRPG IP released on the switch in the last 10 years, it’s hard to find one that didn’t do it better than Pokémon. I love this series to death but Pokémon has literally been surviving on brand recognition alone for the last decade.

Honestly I don't understand why people are hating on the game so much... I'm having such a good time, I feel blessed that we were given the opportunity to play this game. It feels like the new era of VGC is being ushered in with grand fanfare. THE HATERS WERE PROVEN WRONG!!!🙏💯

Yes, Gammoth disliking Tigrex is a part of its lore.
Tigrex is a "bully" that can easily overpower and devour a young Gammoth. As a Gammoth ages, that fear and trauma turns into hate.
