@BrettSiegelNBA So will Ujiri remove the owner Dumont? Lmao everyone knows Nico Harrison couldn’t just trade Luka without approval from the owner

Jason Kidd just signed a massive extension last summer to remain with the Mavericks long-term, and he had the backing of Cooper Flagg. It will be interesting to see what direction Masai Ujiri takes the Mavs, who have made it clear anyone involved with the Luka trade is out.

@Familymeddawg @BillShanks I think Mikel Brown Jr will be the best. He has the physical tools, one of the best shooters in the draft, has a proven history of being good, good passer, modern game, solid defensively. The only concern is health, but he seems fine right now.

@BillShanks While I haven’t done a deep dive on any of these players, Flemings would be my favorite of the guards. He doesn’t have Wagner’s size, but he’s a two way guard. The Hawks can’t get into a situation where they have to scheme around a guard’s lack of defensive ability.

It's so interesting. The Big 4 in the NBA Draft (Dybantsa, Peterson, Boozer & Wilson) are going to be compared for years. But so will the SECOND FOUR (Wagler, Acuff, Brown & Flemings). The #Clippers, #Nets, #Kings & #Hawks are also making very important selections that will be compared for years to come. And Aday Mara is the wildcard. Do one of those in 5-7 get tempted to slide down one of the second four to the Hawks? That would give the Hawks a choice between 2 of the second 4. There would be a lot of pressure for that pick. You can already tell in one week the debate is hot and heavy about which guard in the second four will have the best career - very similar to what is being discussed with the Big Four. In a way, the draft begins at 5.

@sixringsofsteeI @EnjoyBBall Wizards have the easiest decision lol. Just draft AJ and call it a day! All this overthinking is so unnecessary. And it’s not like they are one piece away from a chip to pick for fit. It’s a team without a winning culture, trying to emulate a winning team by cheating the process.

Some final thoughts on the NBA Draft Combine @EnjoyBBall: - I believe Keaton Wagler is the 2nd guard off the board - Aday Mara won't make it past pick 10 right now - Nobody improved their draft stock this week more than Cameron Carr - The Wizards and Clippers have the toughest decisions to make - Mikel Brown Jr. is the best shooter in this class - Cam Boozer vs. Caleb Wilson will be the debates of all debates - Dillon Mitchell is my favorite sleeper from this class - I think still some way AJ Dybantsa ends up in Utah

@PolymarketHoops Reminds me of JDub during okc’s run last year. Top 25 for sure with hus mix of elite defense and efficient, smart offense and playmaking. Also his versatility to play 1-4 makes him extremely valuable.

@billsgeneral236 Carr at 30 is ridiculous 😂 He’s one of the safest picks in the draft. Perfect modern two-way 3-and-D guard/wing that fits on any team and provides instant value. Okc would develop him into a top-tier role player, and those players are more valuable than “stars” these days.

@krussi34 @RTNBA @BannedMacMahon I would agree if everyone on okc that gets minutes are genuinely better than Wiggins, but that’s not true. Okc’s 10th man could be their 6th man, no significant difference.

@dlwpdlzh @RTNBA @BannedMacMahon That’s my point though. If a team is so good that their 12th best player would be our 6th best player I don’t think we are even close to competing with that team.

Aaron Wiggins would have a much bigger role on the Lakers per @BannedMacMahon 👀 “Aaron Wiggins barely played in this series. He would play 25 minutes for the Lakers. That’s not me guessing. I asked somebody on the Lakers staff how many minutes he would play and they said at least 25.”

@THEREALDAWG74 @TheDunkCentral @MarcJSpears He still wants to go #1. Also, the wizards can still just select AJ and trade him to anyone else for more if they really wanted to, unless they specifically want Peterson at #2 and need to trade with Utah. But in any case, AJ will go #1.

@krussi34 @RTNBA @BannedMacMahon To be fair, okc’s entire bench rotation is probably close to a playoff team in itself, at least according to statistics. Every other team in the league would play Aaron Wiggins good minutes, okc is just too deep.

@_JrdnThms This is a team trying to compete for multiple years. They are simply not trading a 2nd-year player playing like an allstar earning $2M a year, especially when they can just extend him or resign him in restricted free agency when they have bird rights. I dont think you understand

@dlwpdlzh Don’t need to get players back. Could straight up trade him for picks. Could get multiple firsts. Which is better than letting him walk for nothing in two years. His value is high right now.

@_JrdnThms Zero chance he gets traded. Also, that’s easier said than done lol. It will be hard to work out the contracts. OKC will need to be getting a player with a similar contract back plus a shit ton of draft picks, which not a lot of teams have to spend, especially for Ajay Mitchell.

@_JrdnThms And that’s two seasons of championship contention with a 15ppg scorer on a $2M contract. They’ll have to let go of Hartenstein this offseason, so good and cheap players are extremely important to them in the near future. 0% chance they trade him unless theres a ridiculous offer

@dlwpdlzh He’s only got two more seasons at that price. Then he’s up for a big payday. Could get a lot for him while the value is the highest. With Williams healthy he won’t play as much.

@JmoneysteckNFL Why the fuck would the nuggets waste another Jokic prime for a gap year? To do what? Draft another mid player in a significantly weaker draft next year? To drive him away from Denver and make him not sign his extension? Resigning Watson is 100%, unless someone pays him $40M/year.

I got a genuine question for yall. Which route would you prefer the Nuggets go this season? 1) trade Jamal and AG for picks/smaller contracts and duck the repeater this year and take a sort of gap year 2) dump cam for nothing to re-sign Watson. Run it back otherwise.

@_JrdnThms Hell no. Mitchell is on a $2M for the next three seasons. That is ridiculous value, possibly the best value contract in the league. Mitchell has instantly become one of OKC’s most valuable players just because of his cost-production ratio.

@leedex666 @Brotha2ThaNite Because the upside is already almost fully realized. Most NBA players hit their peaks around season 7-8 and at around ages 26-29. And most NBA players decline around 30. A 19 year old top prospect in 4 years will likely be better than a 23 year old straight out of the draft.

Okay watching more videos… I see why Atlanta Hawks fans like or liked Kingston Flemings. He’s quick and explosive. He and Labaron Philon have the best highlights videos. I’m pretty sure because they seem quick with that first step. LP might be too ball dominant for the Hawks though. Mikel Brown and Darius Acuff Jr. love to use contact to their advantage. Acuff shooting is the best out of the four.
