@Teetimus ….resignations should be the bear minimum - I think the citizenry as a whole start, will start taking individuals in the public sector seriously. In the UK, resignation shows contrition and admission of err in judgment or breach of law et al. It would be a welcomed start.

@Teetimus In relation to the former, I am of the consistent view that for their to be a successful and viable prosecution of these matters, the evidence must satisfy the standard of beyond a reasonable doubt. You are not seeing the convictions because evidence does not meet the threshold…

When are we going to accept that JA have it's own definition and take on corruption? When are we going to accept that PNP,JLP & the general population have there own perception of corruption? Do you think the people at Examination depot think they are involved in corruption? NO!!

I think all that Jamaicans ask of the independent civil society bodies is that they be CONSISTENT with their outrage against corruption, nepotism & illegal activities (no matter the political party etc). They simply don’t seem to get that & take everything as an attack on them.

Caribbean Airlines has lost TT$1.7B (US$235M) on Air Jamaica since its acquisition in 2011. Many #Jamaicans were unhappy when Bruce Golding’s Administration sold it to save Jamaica’s taxpayers, after decades and billions of losses. Many Trinis were unhappy then that their government paid too much, even unhappier now. #Jamaica #Caribbean
