@dmac5dmark2 Are we certain Drance said this? Looks to me like it was Artem Chubarov.

For #Canucks fans who miss Drance on the airwaves, here's a message he left on Reddit a few days ago. Encouraging to hear that we should have at least one podcast to tune in to in the fall.

❗️❗️❗️🇺🇦🇷🇺The Crimean Bridge has been stripped of its defensive air shield, exposing the highly strategic crossing to a total security vacuum. Following the 2014 occupation, Russia systematically transformed the Crimean Peninsula into one of the most heavily fortified militarized zones on earth. The Kremlin established a dense, layered air defense network consisting of advanced S-300, S-400, and cutting-edge S-500 anti-aircraft systems, bolstered by dozens of Pantsir-S1 missile-gun complexes and powerful radar installations. In the waters of the Kerch Strait, armed military warships provided an additional maritime security cordon, designed to project an impenetrable "Iron Dome" over the entire region. However, Ukraine's relentless suppression campaign has shattered this defensive umbrella. A total of 66 Russian air defense components have been completely destroyed across Crimea, including 30 mobile launchers and 36 radar complexes. Within the immediate vicinity of the Kerch district alone, the Russian military has lost 6 critical radar stations and 5 surface-to-air missile complexes. In a state of growing panic, Russian commanders hastily redeployed a portion of their surviving defense hardware from the bridge's perimeter toward Sevastopol and Simferopol, only for Ukrainian strike drones to track and successfully eliminate them at their new staging grounds. Today, Crimea’s airspace protection network is effectively paralyzed, allowing Ukrainian long-range drones to transit the peninsula's skies completely unimpeded. Stripped of its multi-layered protective shield, the Kerch Bridge stands entirely isolated, directly exposed to imminent strike packages and awaiting its ultimate destruction.

Whole cities in Crimea are now pleading with the Russian occupational authorities, saying they've been without electricity and water for 7 days and that survival by using generators is no longer possible because fuel has run out.

Fuel shortages in Russia have become an almost nationwide problem Of all Russian regions, only Chukotka and the Jewish Autonomous Region have reportedly avoided the shortage. However, they account for only about 0.13% of Russia’s population, so they have almost no impact on the overall situation. Meanwhile, a real “civil war” is breaking out at Russian gas stations.

‼️‼️‼️🇺🇦🇷🇺 BIG | Russian tankers are burning in the azov sea As of July 12, 2026, the Ukrainian Unmanned Systems Forces have unleashed a masterclass in modern, asymmetrical warfare. In just one week—from July 6 to July 12—Ukraine has successfully struck 90 Russian vessels, including tankers, ferries, tugboats, and cargo ships. That is one Russian vessel neutralized every 112 minutes, around the clock. This campaign is the definition of "lethal logistics." By forcing Russia to stop shipping through these key bottlenecks, Ukraine has essentially imposed its own blockade on the occupier. See the latest updates with us: @visionergeo
