As a Canadian watching what’s unfolding in the United States, you couldn’t pay me $10,000, cover the flight, and put me in a five-star hotel. I still wouldn’t go. No vacation is worth gambling!

We won’t even plan a trip with flights that that connect in the US at this point. Portugal 2026 has been far more interesting and welcoming than the past easy habit of Florida. We feel fortunate to be Canadian. We’ll plan a non-US 2027.
