Sometime last summer my ex took the kids to a military show. They had a great time, but never mentioned it again until yesterday when my daughter began loudly and frequently informing anyone who will listen, “I GOT TO HOLD AN AK-47!”
So now all y’all get to hear it too.

Ok I have returned. Thank you for all the lovely messages and comments. I still feel nothing, and didn’t miss the experience (I missed you people though), but I have this nagging feeling that I haven’t done everything I want to do here just yet. Maybe the magic will come back?

no no.. they don't get hate because it's quirky.. it's because they lack conviction. they follow up mediocre jokes with lol the same as laugh tracks on sitcoms. be bold. own the text without the "lol"

The millennial "lol" at the end of a sentence gets a lot of hate from the zoomers but it's actually a beautiful thing?? It's about LOVE, about BELONGING, it's meant to say "please don't hate me for this thing I just said, I want to be LOVED, I am ONLY HUMAN!!"

@ArcadexAngel He was so upset at first then when he realized what I was saying in excitement he got excited as well. Then his gf pointed out that were were acting irrationally excited in the middle of the night lol.
