Our next bout of severe weather is expected on Thursday, March 26, as strong westerly flow in place over top of the southern US ridge will coincide with a moist airmass ahead of a southeastward-moving cold front. Severe storms are possible along the front Thursday afternoon/evening, particularly from Missouri to Ohio. As of now, large hail and damaging winds look to be the main threats, but specifics will become clearer as Thursday approaches.
