You know I was working on some polygon offsetting algorithms and speaking to an OG programmer who used to do these same algorithms in assembly and it made me realize that in fact this is just another abstraction/compiler level on top of what we already know. Binary, byte code, assembly, high level languages, and now what we have here. I am definitely not worried for the artist or the inventor, but the big tech engineer following tickets made from product managers I think is going to be done for.

@mattdesl As somebody for whom code has been at the center of their lives for the past 15+ years, I couldnt agree more. The engineer in me is worried, the artist in me feels empowered.

this video resonates. 💯 i have specific thoughts around these concerns as it relates to generative art, though. and there i am slightly more optimistic: art made with agentic workflows is generally piss-poor. unmaintainable, unarchivable, unprintable, etc. the loss landscape of "make me an artwork" is far more subjective and human than "make me an app."

@EthDeFiance @avant_arte @opensea @MagicEden So one thing could be that MM isn't decoding the base64 string for the token data/URI and just treating it as a string - I don't know all the details. Either way, you should be okay on the actual token and will work to make sure stuff is right on OS.

Question for @dmitricherniak and @avant_arte : What happened to the NFT counterparts to the physical Ringers #962: The LACMA Iterations limited edition? They are not properly visible anymore on either @opensea , @MagicEden or @MetaMask Picture not properly hosted anymore?

I can see the actual IPFS file is here: ipfs.io/ipfs/QmWuJ8kDs… When I read the tokenID (1) from the contract (#readContract" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">etherscan.io/address/0x8f17…) I get the base64 encoded JSON, and when decoded I see this. So as far as I can see, the IPFS image is still hosted, and the contract is providing the correct metadata/details, and the issue is perhaps OpenSea not displaying the correct collection.

INSTALLATION COMPLETE! It is exciting to see a completed custom three-panel installation of Interlinked (2024) by @ix_shells with @RosendoMerelCh for collectors @tadtweets and Caroline in NYC. It looks incredible to see an artwork incorporated so seamlessly into a home. The work was originally shown and acquired at the @ArtBasel booth with @artxcode_io + Fellowship. The work is now permanently installed as a triptych. Congratulations to the artist, teams, and collectors!
