@AskYatharth my path has been the opposite. it was easier for me to be curious about what it's like to dissociate, to see what wisdom there is there. embarrassed to say but i only recently learned tools that actually help me regulate, feels like such a blessing / hack.

it seems like a really powerful move to just get to know myself in dysregulated states my instinct has always been to avoid avoid avoid get out of dysregulated states as fast as possible. in part because of sentiments like this, that it was a stain on my soul

somehow it doesn't feel so funny on the inside. it feels like rejection really is some dark stain on my soul. and if i must show mine to someone, i need to show them the part that hasn't been rejected and hasn't felt its pain

My fav app from @Setapp is @KeysmithApp. It allows *really easy* creation of “macros” for automation on macOS; you can trigger these macros with keyboard shortcuts. My simplest macros open or switch to an app. ⌘^⌥⇧ B → Browser ⌘^⌥⇧ I → IDE ⌘^⌥⇧ T → Terminal (1/n)

A chrome extension that replaces the "thanks" "best wishes" etc of every email you get to "I'm just desperate to be loved," It makes you kinder and is a regular reminder that it's what everyone needs most

During meditation today (gently trying to get back into habit) I felt a rare but familiar sensation of spinning. A kind of energised, on-a-fairground-ride motion whilst feeling safe & seated. Gone as soon as eyes opened. What is this? Does it have a name, meditation-twitter?

@dmoreh_ Unfortunately it's not working for me. I get an error "Purple Air is not available." I have other menubar apps that access PurpleAir without issue. Bought AQI because of the cleaner UI.

I made a lil Mac app that puts the AQI in your menu bar. Thankfully it's been mostly green the last couple weeks, but I still like having it. It's nice to know the air is safe – and that I'll get a notification if that changes. Check it out! getaqi.app
