And after their photos, the @dmorganplc tippers were back to work

In addition to the new @VolvoTrucks lowloader, @dmorganplc also had two of their brand new tippers at the quarry, looking spick and span

Two weeks ago, I was at the @dmorganplc quarry to see their brand new @VolvoTrucks lowloader. Pic 1 was my usual over the top of the security fence shot. It was nice to be able to see the truck close up. That pic on the back of the cab ... One that I took. Brilliant day.

The working machines were quite a way off in the distance today. @dmorganplc dumper looks to be delivering top soil dressing for the roadside - Just a guess, it was not being compacted, just tipped and spread.

This is obviously a proud moment in Denis’s life as he stands outside his parent’s house with his truck in his best suit and tie. It is the beginning of what our business is today, as we continue to celebrate 75 years, 1950 - 2025.

There were already several small haulage companies in the area, all of which objected to the award of any more licences. With perseverance Denis overcame these objections and eventually received the appropriate licence to operate his one truck.

〽️ Monday Motivation 🚛 From one truck and sheer determination to 75 years of progress, proof that hard work, resilience and ambition matters. Denis Morgan’s ambition had been to go into the road haulage business. He wanted to own his own truck.

It looks like we have blue sky for the return of @dmorganplc to complete some Phase 1 works at Hexagon Park today. It's quite a suntrap down that end of the site too

A reminder that while equipment, techniques and standards evolve, our commitment to doing things properly endures.

〽️ Throwback Thursday… 📸 Leeds–Liverpool Canal, 1996. Three decades ago, projects like this were already showcasing the engineering knowledge, experience and problem‑solving ethos that have become part of our culture of making excellence a habit.

Since Thursday some @dmorganplc equipment (Including the hybrid excavator) has arrived back at Hexagon Park to continue work on Phase 1 of the development, with the second dumper delivered this morning as I was walking past. Good timing.
