For fellow anarchistes de droite, to keep your cool on X: Canis latrat, commeatus transit. To put it another way: Latrant, non loquuntur.

@JohnSimpsonNews It's far too conceptual to be a brilliant statue. This sort of thing is terribly outdated and the result here is that what should have been a newspaper cartoon will quickly end up being a large quantity of bronze in the scrap heap.

Congratulations to Westminster Council for their acceptance of Banksy’s brilliant statue near Pall Mall. Let’s hope it stays — a welcome note of calmness and humour at a time of growing extremism.

@Mellyfax How is it that you are blind to the constant lies, outrage, unserious politics and slogans of the Liberal Party? Isn't the problem that the great majority of parliament is, in fact, a Liberal-Conservative uniparty?

I’m so tired of the Conservative Party and the constant lies, outrage, and unserious politics. They offer slogans instead of solutions, and too many supporters are so blinded by their hatred of anything Liberal they’ll vote against their own interests just to own the other side

@ItsDeanBlundell Canada the leader of the free world? The country that bends over in front of Red China? Reminds me of H. L. Mencken's witticism “Democracy is the theory that the common people know what they want, and deserve to get it good and hard."

While PM Carney keeps delivering wins for Canada, conservatives continue to shit on Canada and Canadians. I figured it’s time to bring this one out and dust it off, cry harder conservatives.

@rupasubramanya Sorry, but the LPC obviously think exactly the same thing. They just don't say it. They have, however, created the Canada Groceries and Essentials Benefit. Good thing the starving masses have the LPC and Dear Leader MC to look after them.

Good to know the CPC is managing to rake in record fundraising numbers in this apocalyptic wasteland they keep describing, a country where thanks to breadline economics, the economy is perpetually on the brink of collapse and Canadians have to rely on gulag rations to get by. It's remarkable that donors, just like the rest of the country remain so financially resilient amid total societal collapse.
Cole Hogan@colewhogan

Ottawa, ON –The Conservative Party of Canada announced today it raised over $9.4 million in the first quarter of 2026, marking the Party’s second-best non-election Q1 fundraising result on record. Under @PierrePoilievre, Conservatives continue to build strong grassroots support. In Q1 alone, 40,410 contributors gave a total of $9,430,682. As Canadians struggle with the rising cost of housing, food, and fuel, tens of thousands are choosing to back the Conservative vision with their hard-earned dollars.

This is mind-blowing In all five of the most populous countries in the EU, a majority of citizens are in favor of Canada joining the EU. Regardless of what you personally think about the idea, this shows one thing: Europeans see Canadians as part of the same cultural family.

Mark Carney could have probably gone a full term as a scrappy minority PM. But he chose to fly close too the Sun. He’s only going to become more unpopular as time goes on. Eventually he’ll just run away,

@JJ_McCullough To be expected. So many Canadians have an inferiority-superiority complex wrt Americans that they're bound to lose control when faced with an international situation that's a bit tense and where both Carney and Trump are stoking the tensions to galvanize support for themselves.

@TroyWestwood Before I called other people stupid, I'd learn how to write an English sentence. I'd also ask myself if I could define a word like "enemy" and look for examples of when demonizing opponents has actually achieved anything.

Mark Carney and the Liberals won’t want you to see this. Another beautiful reminder that Americans are NOT our enemy! Big respect to the @BuffaloSabres and their fans for stepping up and singing the Canadian national anthem, pure class!🫡🇨🇦🇺🇸

I'm going to be blunt here. When it comes to the economy. I don't know about you, but don't you think it makes more sense to follow and trust the advice of a qualified economist ( PM Carney ) over following the advice of a guy who pretends to be one on TV ( Pierre Poilievre ) ?

@davidfrum David, Canada's sovereignty has only ever been threatened by the way Canadians have managed their economy and by the way these same Canadians have been repeatedly voted in by the lemming class among their compatriots.

Sassy social media commentary aside, Canada has fought harder and more successfully - often at higher cost - to defend its national sovereignty from invasive Trump demands than has Mexico under President Claudia Sheinbaum. wsj.com/world/americas…

This is the heart of the problem, yes. Justin Trudeau didn't actually invent any of the bad ideas demolishing Canada. He just opened wide the gates to institutions willing to do it for him. Dying with Dignity and the Century Initiative are relatively small outlets, but between them they've managed catastrophic damage.
Zak Mndebele@ZakMndebele

@TristinHopper In order to do this, the Canadian right needs to stop relying on parties to do everything. Parties exist to win elections, only institutions can prepare the ground ahead of time. If you cede the institutions, you cede the ability to choose the battleground to the left.

@stengel Do you seriously contend that America under the last few Presidents , but particularly under Mr. Trump, is a Republic ruled by the people? Frankly, I prefer the crowned ruffian any day. BTW, your contention about Brexit is equally absurd.

I've got nothing against King Charles personally—in fact, he seems like a decent and thoughtful man—but why the heck are we inviting the 77-year-old monarch of a medium-sized nation that committed something close to national suicide with Brexit to address a joint session of Congress? "Of more worth is one honest man to society," wrote Thomas Paine, "than all the crowned ruffians that ever lived." We are the nation that threw off a crowned ruffian and ended hereditary privilege to create a republic where the people rule. Happy 250th Birthday America.

@terrynewman More futile exercises in comms. They may, for the time being, galvanize some in the lemming class of Canadian, but will soon wear very thin indeed. Wait for a catastrophic USMCA deal and a global economic catastrophe triggered by a war in Iran from which DJT can't pull out.
