Ordered an entire nursery set from @DeltaChildren... called the shipper today as the email received from DC stated it was estimated to arrive today and did not come. They have no items under that tracking number for me and do not know where my furniture is. I am NOT happy.

The school board voted to send elementary back on the 19th full time. Keep in mind, we had two elementaries shut down due to quarantining &cases last time we were in person Middle & high school return feb 8th. With a hybrid: A/B 2 days on, 2 days off & wednesdays to clean. Wow.

I have never felt more disposable. I hate to say it but this pandemic is robbing me of all the good i used to believe in & the heart I put into my profession. Ppl continue to push good teachers out bc of their disrespect & tonight’s board meeting only further proved that.

So you’re telling me... the school board votes for us to go back to in-person learning tonight... but they made it virtual because they don’t feel it’s safe to all be in one space yet? Got it!

Minutes away from going live w/ my kiddos &I’ve decided I’m going to focus on a what democracy looks like while allowing them to express their understanding. We can sort thru the opinions & facts together. Blessings to those navigating thru this event in their lessons today.

As a teacher, I’m wondering how lawmakers feel as they’re told to hide under desks & stay away from doors for fear of violence. Asking for my students.
