The deacon at the local diocesan parish in my town has adult children who have apostatized. He preaches from the pulpit that Vatican 2 teaches that all religions have truth in them, and that all Christian denominations are perfectly fine. The pastor and bishop refuse to correct him. Can my children, who I am responsible for, find the “ordinary” means of salvation here? Should we go here his heresies every other week because “the sacraments are valid”? Yes or no?
