Burrito on Hex 🎉 hex.pm/packages/burri… Updated Linux Erlang runtimes to always use musl libC so, you’ll only need 1 per architecture now!

Fixed in main! And more OTP versions for 26.0.1+ are coming soon to the BEAM machine!

as a heads up/FYI — I have been prototyping and re-implementing Burrito’s wrapper in Rust, and I do plan on using it going forward once it’s at parity with the Zig based wrapper. I plan for NIF cross-compilation to still use Zig as an fully optional dependency.

The CLI example has one too: #L34" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">github.com/burrito-elixir… Basically you’d have to write some Zig or, some C that can be called from Zig to install the MSVC libraries— statically linking isn’t really an option afaik, and that’s on the Erlang side of things as well.

Elixir Burrito Update: - I’ve dropped support for all OTP 23.x pre-built archives on the CDN, you can still provide your own archive etc. - The BEAM Machine now has OTP 26.0.x releases pre-build for MacOS and Linux

@twistin456 Potentially a plug-in (is referenced in the example), that’s native code that runs before Erlang is invoked. You could somehow download and install the runtime there prior to letting the wrapper launch the rest of the payload.
