David O'Brian

He was much more than an uncle to me and was a father figure to myself and so many others. Grateful for the role he played in my life and for the full life that he lived.

A little late on this post - but this was my 26th - and final season - as the SID for @BinghamtonUWBB . With an ever-increasing workload, it was time to pull back. I’m still at my job - won’t be leaving. But it’s been an honor working with this team the past quarter century.

A little late on this post - but it was so great to see Sarah Cartmill and Leah Truncale back at Binghamton last week to see @BinghamtonUWBB win its @AmericaEast quarterfinal game. They have been like family to me for over two decades and are two of the best people I know.

I thought Bella Pucci’s biggest shot was in our double OT win over Akron earlier in this year. I was wrong.

Each year, @binghamtonu honors longtime employees who have reached milestones for years of service. This was my 25th. Congrats to my @Bing_Bearcats colleagues who were also recognized today and thanks to John Hartrick for being a great boss and friend all these years.

A first for me - shooting @BinghamtonWLAX vs Le Moyne is 40 degree weather.

This was my office for the last 5 days- glad to travel with @BinghamtonSWIM to the @AmericaEast meet. And very glad a didn’t fall in the water considering how much time I spent shooting photos from this location…

Smoke photo day was a blast with @BinghamtonXCTF - thank to everyone on the team who helped me out on that day. Most of all, thank to Col Warner for all of the smoke photos he took this year.

Kevin Stevens has long been one of my favorite media members since I came to @Bing_Bearcats 26 years ago. A true professional who gave journalism a great name. This is a sad loss. May God Bless his family during this time. pressconnects.com/story/sports/2…

Third 11-win season ever. First @NavyFB team to win 21 games in a two-year span. The Mids cap it by beating a Big 12 school 35-13. And they didn’t spend a dime to do it. #GoNavy

I grew up in Maryland and went to @NavyFB games for 6 years — so great to see this program do so well in the age of NIL and the portal. They are a true credit to college athletics - and our nation.
