@laurapannack I actually have some data recovery software I keep in the cloud for this exact situation, I can sent it if you need. Also, as @robertgumpert suggested try to ascertain where the SD card will mount (is readable). Hope this helps.

Help! Used a Fuji x100v and now the images wont show. They didnt show up on the computer and now nothing playing back on the camera too- anyone out there that can help please? x

@laurapannack As suggested test a different card in the card to see whether or not it's the camera or the card that's at fault. If the same thing happens with the new card, then sorry, it doesn't look good. But if writes fine then put the original SD card though data recovery software.

@duckrabbitblog I've said this from the beginning (sigh). Digitalising assets doesn't mean you can just dump everything online and leave it to the interns to tag it. Challenging work shouldn't be made public without professional Picture Researchers and Editors to verify and contextualise it.

And the archive needs an urgent warning slapping on it. Nothing can be trusted. It all needs to be verified.

There's been a lot of back and forth between Sohrab Hura and me over the last few days. I found the experience quite conflicting because it is hard to believe that he doesn't know how his photos have been tagged and @MagnumPhotos won't give him that info to date.
