@pepemac27 I wonder if the doctor being female was a factor... Some of the worst behaviour I've witnessed from nurses towards doctors has been female nurses being extremely critical and unfair towards female doctors.

Shared w me (+shared w permission) by a colleague. This was put into their TAB by a management Nurse. No warning or prior discussion. These "issues" never flagged to them/a supervisor previously. Blaming an F1 for systemic TRUSTwide issues #OneTeam and #Bekind though, right?

@mstotty88 Agree to be fair! In paediatrics our consultants are really involved and can be called for opinion about tricky cases / to attend a sick child / for volume of workload 24/7.

Why is med reg seen as this awful passage of right but then it’s all fine once you are a consultant? The sickest surgical pts at 2am are managed by the consultant surgeon, anaesthetist and intensivist. Why is the sickest medical pt at 2am not managed by the cons physician?

@beccyjanehealey @EmergMedDr When I went to family court the barristers spent a very long time establishing how many years of training I had, how long I had been qualified etc etc

@EmergMedDr Given the consequences of getting this wrong - hugely dangerous policy. Would a family court judge be aware of this when making their final decision based on the ‘expert’ evidence presented to them? Terrifying.

I am absolutely loving my Gen Paeds rotation after the trauma of PICU. With consultancy looming, is this a rebound love or true love? How can I tell? 😂

I can’t say how furious I am. occupational health in our deanery is reached through HR referral, that step makes it feel disciplinary. our GPs are already overstretched and there’s unique needs for medical professionals seeking mental health support that PHP just “get”

@dr_doddle Haha I do this all the time. I then feel nauseated all night, don’t eat, then get hangry at 6am when the NHS white toast eventually wins 😂

Earlier me was very optimistic about what 1am me would want for a snack.
