The University of Michigan has a storied history of pioneering advancements in orthopaedics and putting women in leadership roles decades before other programs. I had a blast giving their DEI grand rounds and spending time with this close knit group.

Yesterday marked my last day on the @posna_org board of directors. You couldn't ask for a better group of people to work with in moving the pediatric orthopaedic profession forward.

Unfortunately my @srs_org Edgar Dawson Traveling Fellowship with Stefan Parent has come to an end. I had an amazing time learning more about vertebral body tethering and meeting the orthopaedic group here at CHU Saint-Justine.

I was honored to give grand rounds to the department of surgery at the @chustejustine Childrens Hospital in Montreal. I discussed how the Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) of our pediatric patients affects numerous outcomes in Pediatric Orthopaedics.

Day 1 of my @srs_org Edgar Dawson Traveling Fellowship in Montreal. A highlight of my day was touring the lab of Dr. Carl-Eric Aubin whose innovation lab has invested over $75 million and produced over 140 projects that have translated to multiple start up companies already.

I just got notification that my promotion to Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery was approved! Thank you to my many...many mentors who set me on this academic path and have continued to support my career!

There is no greater honor than being asked to speak at the institution that trained you. I had an amazing time speaking at Hopkins Ortho, on how Stereotype Threat and Microaggressions have contributed to our field being the least diverse in all of medicine.

If I could accomplish even 5% of what Dr. Alvin Crawford has accomplished in his life, I would be content. Therefore it was such an honor to be the visiting professor for the Crawford Lectureship at Cincinnati Children's Hospital.
