Other memory: this was the 2000s, and back then the way that Israel was committing Muh Genocide was by building THE WALL between them and Palestine. First of all, the thing I learned was that THE WALL, which the Israelis wanted us to call THE BARRIER, was not a wall in most places, but a fence, or, in some places, a line on a map, because the building was held up in litigation before the Supreme Court. Oh, you mean like a normal country with the rule of law and not like a fascist dictatorship? And so they took us to the side of a hill. From the hill, we could see a valley sloping down, and on the other side, a Palestinian village. Around the hill we were on snaked a road, and on the side of the road, a bus stop. Palestinians from the village across would put on suicide belts, climb up the hill, wait at the bus stop, and, once on the bus, detonate themselves. This happened several times at this very spot, they told us.
