Oat milk contains only 0.5g beta-glucan per 100g. A bowl of whole oats contains 2-4g per serving. So to get the clinically meaningful 3g/day dose shown to lower LDL, you’d need to drink roughly 600ml of oat milk - versus one standard bowl of oats.

People started eating more protein. Forgot fiber entirely. Protein feeds muscles. Fiber feeds the 100 trillion bacteria running your immune system.

People stopped buying chips. Started buying veggie straws. Potato starch, spinach powder, tomato paste. No vegetables were harmed. Or included.

Parents replaced cow’s milk with oat milk. Oat milk is milled oats, water, and rapeseed oil. It spikes blood sugar faster than a glass of orange juice. The dairy aisle lost. The glucose monitor won.

People quit sugary cereals. Switched to granola. One cup of granola has more calories and sugar than a bowl of Frosted Flakes. The packaging just costs more.

Gyms started selling protein shakes at the front desk. 40 grams of whey, 30 grams of added sugar. Customers worked out for 45 minutes. Then drank back every calorie at the smoothie bar.

Gluten isn’t the problem for most people. Most feel better gluten-free because they cut ultra-processed foods — not gluten itself. Before eliminating gluten, test for celiac. Comment “LABS” for my free gut testing guide.

Normal liver enzymes ≠ a healthy liver 👇 • Fatty liver can exist with normal ALT/AST • Damage may already be progressing • Ultrasound or FibroScan can detect what labs miss Comment “LIVER” for my 5 go-to fatty liver recipes.

Bloating after every meal isn’t normal. And it’s not always “bad gut bacteria.” Common causes: • Eating too fast → swallowing air • Slow stomach emptying • Trouble releasing gas • Sensitive gut nerves Comment “BLOAT” for my free gut health guide.

30 plants a week sounds healthy… Unless you have IBS. Many “healthy” foods are high-FODMAP and can worsen: • Bloating • Gas • Pain For IBS, the right plants matter more than more plants. Comment “FIX” for my free gut health guide.

Stress doesn't cause IBS — it reveals it. The gut was already broken. Stress just unmasks it. Treating anxiety without the gut is like fixing the alarm and ignoring the fire. — Dr. Sethi Comment "GUTFIX" for my free gut guide. #IBS #GutHealth

H. pylori is the world’s most common chronic bacterial infection. Triple therapy failure rates are now >20% in the US. Resistance is rising. Most patients never confirm eradication after treatment. Did yours actually work? Comment “LABS” for my free gut testing guide.

Cultures with 50g+ daily fiber have near-zero rates of colon cancer. Western average: 16g. Western colon cancer rates: skyrocketing. This is not a coincidence. — Dr. Sethi Not sure which foods are actually high in fiber? Comment "CHEAT" and I'll DM you my free guide!

I eat 30 different plants every week. Not because I’m obsessive. Because I’ve seen what low-fiber does to a colon. Once you see it, you can’t unsee it. — Dr. Sethi Not sure which foods are actually high in fiber? Comment "CHEAT" and I'll DM you my free guide!

More fiber made you more bloated? You didn’t fail fiber. Fiber failed you — because you rushed it. Going 10g → 35g overnight isn’t healthy. It’s a fermentation bomb. Start low. Go slow. Your microbiome needs time, not punishment. -Dr. Sethi Comment “FIBER” for my free guide!

IBD is labeled autoimmune. In clinic, it's a systems disease: Gut barrier dysfunction Microbiome shifts Immune dysregulation Diet + stress (gut-brain axis) Early-life exposures Autoimmune is the label. Multifactorial is the reality. Comment "GUTFIX" for my free gut guide.
