@SkySportsNews Using your job platform to beg for another job surely is a sackable offence ain’t it. That’s like speaking through an apple conference asking Samsung to hire you.
English

@SkySportsNews Dosent get much more 'Spursy'than ex managers begging for re-employment. Sherwood and redknapp should be ashamed of themselves.
English

@AlfieHouseEcho Do you know what, I reckon it might just be to stop oxfords long throws. 🙄
English

@AshGower1990 @secondtierpod Except that didn't happen. You also got away with pulling edozie shirt off his back in the box.
English

@secondtierpod What it doesn’t show is them throwing themselves to the floor every two minutes the moment they were touched

@SaintsExtra @SkySportDE Always been a problem at Saints soon as we get a half decent side together bigger clubs come calling,we need to keep good players and show some ambition.
English

🚨 Southampton’s Leo Scienza is the subject of enquiries from clubs in the Premier League, Serie A, La Liga & Brazil — Saints would demand ‘at least €20m’ [£17.3m] for any move #saintsfc @SkySportDE

English

@AlfieHouseEcho @allentgunn Given our recent performances in the Premier league I think us saints fans can be forgiven for being sceptical about returning to the prem. It's nice to actually look forward to the matches for a change.
English

@allentgunn So you’d rather stay in the Champ and lose the few proper quality players you have?
English

Genuinely starting to believe it might actually happen and I’m conflicted bc we are nowhere near being a PL team with this squad. We’d have to splash some cash on 3/4 legitimate impact players and that’s just not the SR model… #saintsfc
Alfie House@AlfieHouseEcho
Saints can move to within a point of Wrexham in sixth with a win tomorrow. #SaintsFC
English

@AdamBlackmore @AlfieHouseEcho this makes our capitulations look like child's play. Don't think we have ever taken a keeper off after 15 mins have we ?
English

@SundayChants I think they just don't want to touch a fat sweaty naked man
English

@SaintLambo07 Lambert esc that one, pick your spot, run up properly and bloody leather it.
English

@SteveGrant1983 @danielstorey85 Ridiculous that it's their decision in the first place.
English

@doeboy1 @danielstorey85 Definitely the biggest issue in the National League, there's a campaign currently running - 3UP - to get this changed, but as I said, turkeys tend not to vote for Christmas, so it'll be difficult to push it through. Might need to wait for the regulator to get stuck into it.
English

Here's a column on the Chamoionship extending the playoffs to six teams, which will happen from next season. I think it's a risk for several reasons.

English

@SteveGrant1983 @danielstorey85 Ah right ok, I would point to that being a bigger problem than the way the play offs are organised. Anyway, will not matter when we get promoted this season 😬.
English

@doeboy1 @danielstorey85 Because the EFL (currently) doesn't allow them to promote 3, because that would mean relegating 3 from League Two and turkeys tend not to vote for Christmas, even though the reduced number of promotion spots makes it much harder to get back up again.
English

@SteveGrant1983 @danielstorey85 Why don't they do the same and promote 2 teams automatically in national league then play offs for the rest ?
English

@SteveGrant1983 @danielstorey85 Ita definitely something that those teams would need to be aware of and potentially manage coming towards the end of the season but I don't think it makes the new system a bad one.
English

@SteveGrant1983 @danielstorey85 Think any team deserving of promotion should be able to overcome that if they are worth their salt.
English

@danielstorey85 Also, look at how the National League playoffs worked out last year - the two teams who earned the extra rest were then completely cold when they had to resume their season two weeks later while the others were maintaining sharpness and momentum.
English

@wideawake_media OK…… so I’ll concede some people might consider Matt le Tissier a ‘football icon’. But that doesn’t mean he knows diddly squat about ‘deep state’, controlled depopulation or even the King being the leader of the ‘Lizard People’!
Why are we listening to him?
