It’s difficult to really put my feelings into words now. Not everyone has thick skin, not everyone can shrug off that many controversies. I truly wish I was more insistent on her setting boundaries for herself.

Just because someone is a big account doesn’t meant they won’t see the harassment. Not everyone mutes their notifications, many do check every reply and every quote retweet. I often advised Yufka against it, but she enjoyed reading what people would say about her art.

A part of why I went on hiatus is just being tired of the fandom and how reactive it is. Even now the desire to come back is nonexistent. Alien Stage is a beautiful piece of art and it’s a shame how it’s been tainted by the fans.

I hope wherever her soul takes her treats her kindly.

We drifted towards the start of my hiatus, and while I messaged her here and there it was not constant. I tried to be a shoulder to talk to at times, but we weren’t as close. Still, I did care for her and worried whenever the stress of being a big account took hold.

I always will have nothing but love for Yufka. May you rest in peace now.
