@gulayturkmen It’s really not that complicated. Pick a server and start tooting as long as you’re kind you’ll find your place. You can always move to another server once you find your place while retaining your follows and followers.
Could I do all the devops and service with the skeleton squad? Hell no, neither me nor anyone in my squad wanted to pick up the phone around the clock, nor did we have the resources or expertise to do the customer experiences.
And I’m saying this, as someone, who loves 0->1 and got a successful handoff of a product to the devops after leading a lean team of about 5 that went full footprint in a traditional massive corporation like Comcast. Did I need hundreds to build it? No.
Got my second COVID booster on Wed and the side effects lasted for 2.5 days. Ironically the side effects were worse than having COVID back in January. Fever, uncontrollable shivering, body aches, migraine, and fatigue. I’m only feeling somewhat normal today. Is this the norm?
The Occam's Razor explanation is that the Moderation and Infrastructure functions are being negatively impacted by lack of staffing, confused managers, out of date models, and cash preservation shenanigans.
Lots of conversation today about content moderation today, so I thought I'd offer a high-level explainer. You can break things down to:
1. Policy
2. Moderation
3. Infrastructure

@imightbemary It made sense to me that the transformation work that brings an ontological standardization of raw data to information bits is called the semantics layer.
@imightbemary Too often there is an assumption that collecting data is sufficient to generate insights out of, but raw data by itself is rarely sufficient to throw into a model as a feature and/or a target by itself nor is it ready for analysis.
is there a good general term for building and cultivating valuable datasets? something that would cover both things like data modeling and labeling datasets for ML/statistical modeling, but is more specific than "data engineering"
TL;DR It’s been a great pleasure y’all! 🫡💙 #LoveWhereYouWorkED
