We also love the author & illustrator autograph guest book (and definitely want to borrow the idea for our libraries!) Fun to see the contributions of @alansilberberg, @troycummings, @jasminewarga, & so many others!

Over-the-moon crazy for @Gianferrari_M & @peteoswaldart’s Being a Dog: A Tail of Mindfulness. This picture book is about the good that dogs do for our souls and how embracing moments *right now* help us to us to find peace & contentment in our lives. We LOVE it! #SEL #kidlit 🐾

We loved @MLConklin’s A Perfect Mistake because it never talks down to kids, gives a shoutout to @JackieWoodson's The Day You Begin, & reminds us that EVERYONE makes mistakes - and learning from them, apologizing, & showing forgiveness lets us grow from them. Releases in July! 🥳

The Civil War of Amos Abernathy by Michael Leali releases on May 24th, and we love this book. Read this #mglit for Mrs. Abernathy’s ranting phone call & the term of “queero” (queer + hero) - and ALL the historical awesomeness, of course. 🏳️‍🌈 Absolutely fabulous, @michaelleali!

Today was an epic day of teamwork at @115bgs! For the last part of our institute day, @CoryMehnert’s Early Childhood teamed up with our library squad to plan, prep, & create for a big event approaching next month with author/illustrator extraordinaire @ohtruth! We. Can’t. WAIT!
